Can Do … Will Do

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.
Ephesians 3:20

When the boys were younger, we watched a video with a Lego character, Jack Stone. It amazes me that a little Lego character, composed of 4-5 parts could be a super hero, but hey, in a kid’s world, all things are possible. In God’s world … the same, interesting.

Jack Stone’s motto is: Can Do … Will Do!

So simple … yet so powerful.

In our lives, we can do many things, the question is, will we?

God has given us free will … we are allowed to make our own choices, in every decision.

Many times, I am able to do something, but I choose not to do it. Maybe I think it will be too difficult, or take too much of my time, or it will cost too much … the list of reasons can be endless.

God’s Way is not the way of the world … so … if He gives me the ability, I want to follow His will.

If I can do it … I will to do it, for Him.

Father, thank you that I can learn life lessons from little Lego men. Lord, teach me how to discern your will from mine. Thank you Lord for all the opportunities to serve you!
